Tri-County Announces All-Conference Softball and Baseball Teams
The Tri-County Conference has announced its 2021 All-Conference Softball and Baseball teams. In softball La Plata’s Olivia Coy and Atlanta’s Abbie Farmer were named Co-MVP’s for the season. La Plata had the most first-team selection with Pieper Wood and Claire Coy also receiving the honor. Atlanta’s Kaidyn Watson joined Farmer on the first team. Brashear also featured two players on the first team in Alexa Borgmeyer and Haley McNamar. Courtney Garnett of Atlanta was named the Tri-County Coach of the Year.
The Tri-County All-Conference Fall Baseball team was led by Green City has they landed three players on the first team. The Gophers were represented by Laydon Fields, Grant O’Haver, and Aaron Peavler. Meanwhile, Atlanta was represented by the conference MVP Landon Gilliland along with Prestyn Peavler. La Plata also featured two players on the first team with Tanner Pipes and Reese Mesecher. Green City’s Dale Whitacre was named the Tri-County Coach of the Year.
