Missouri legislators have until March 1st to file bills for the 2020 legislative session. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch of Hallsville says she has one final bill she’ll file this week.

Missouri Task Force One is one of 28 Urban Search and Rescue teams in the United States. The team responds to disasters within Missouri and throughout the country. Toalson Reisch’s bill would align federal regulations with state regulations for Missouri Task Force One. Toalson Reisch explains some of the components of the bill.

Missouri Task Force One consists of 80 members when it is deployed. A total of 210 people staff the task force. Missouri Task Force One is managed by the Boone County Fire Protection District.
