Three-Time KRES All-Star Cady Pauley Reflects on Milan Career

For the third-straight year, Milan’s Cady Pauley is a KRES All-Star. The senior star of the Lady Cats averaged 33 points per game and eclipsed 3,000 career points in a district playoff game against South Harrison this season. Pauley says reaching that milestone was a relief.

Pauley finished her high school career 3,074 points, which ranks eighth all-time in Missouri high school girls basketball. Pauley credits her teammates for her achievements.

Milan won back-to-back district titles the past two seasons and reached the quarterfinals during the 2020-21 season. Pauley says the postseason runs were particularly memorable.

Pauley will continue her basketball career at Missouri State University next season. She joins a Lady Bears squad that went 25-8 and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament this season.
