Taylor Pleads Not Guilty To A First Degree Murder Charge In The Death Of A CMU Football Player

A Memphis, Tennessee man pleaded not guilty to a charge of first degree murder Tuesday morning, charged in the shooting death of a Central Methodist football player last Thursday. The lawyer for 23-year-old Kundarrius Taylor claimed the shooting of Torrance Evans was an act of self-defense. Taylor is being held without bond, and is next due in court October 11th. Evans was a senior offensive lineman for the Eagles.
