State Fair To Celebrate Missouri’s Bicentennial

This year’s Missouri State Fair could be considered an 11-day birthday party for all Missourians, as the state marks its bicentennial. Director Mark Wolfe says several exhibits and performances will echo this year’s theme, Our Missouri Celebration.

Talent from across the state will be celebrated, including on the Grandstand presented by CFM Insurance.

Another Missourian with Nashville success, Tyler Farr of Garden City, will also perform on the Grandstand. Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe adds that the Ditzfield Family Stage, one of the entertainment venues included in the cost of admission, will feature exclusively Missouri talent this year. The 119th Missouri State Fair begins August 12th and runs through the 22nd on the fairgrounds in Sedalia.
