Squirrel Season Underway in Missouri

Squirrel season is officially underway. The season will run through next February 15th. Knox County conservation agent Dustin Snead says there are several different ways hunters can harvest squirrels.

The daily limit for squirrel season is ten and the possession limit is 20. Snead says there are some other rules and regulations squirrel hunters need to keep in mind.

Snead adds there are several different ways to cook squirrel.

Hunters must have a valid Small Game Hunting Permit to participate in squirrel season.
