SOYLEIC Opens Marketing Opportunities For Missouri Soy Farmers

Farmers across the state stand to benefit from agreements between the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council and businesses seeking to market their patented high-oleic soybeans. MSMC Chairman and Carroll County farmer Kyle Durham highlights the group’s “SOYLEIC” brand of beans.

Durham notes that partnerships with companies including Global Processing and Saint Louis-based Benson Hill help expand markets for growing and harvesting high-oleic beans.

The Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council holds four patents for SOYLEIC varieties that contain the high-oleic trait.
