South Shelby Cardinals Look To Continue Improvement

The South Shelby Cardinals football team went 8-4 last year. Despite the graduation of all-state quarterback Trey Countryman, Coach Adam Gunterman returns some potent weapons on offense.

Junior Gabe Bowen and sophomore Chase Mollering are battling for the starting quarterback job.

The defense will be led by senior Chance Rainey.

Gunterman says success will be based upon everyone working together.
