Slot Limit for Blue Catfish at Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Lake

Missouri has three different species of catfish for anglers to pursue each year. Many bodies of water in Missouri have different rules when it comes to catching these fish. Monroe County Conservation Agent Jessica Filla says the slot limit is unique to the Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Lake.

Anglers can only keep two blue catfish that are over 34 inches at a time. Filla explains the reason for these limits.

As a result of the slot limit the daily limit for blue catfish on the Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Lake is ten, including the two over 34 inches.
