Slater School District Dealing With Budget Concerns

The Slater School Board is keeping a close eye on the district’s budget. Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz says the current economic climate is creating some concerns.

Rising food costs are chief among the issues facing the Slater School District’s budget. Lorenz says the economic turbulence makes it’s hard to predict budget numbers.

The next Slater School Board meeting is scheduled for December 20th. The board is expected to finalize the district’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan during that meeting.
