Slater Looking into Light Replacement Project for Athletic Facilities

The Slater School District is looking into multiple facility projects for the next year. Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz says one of those potential projects involves the high school’s athletic facilities.

The current lights date back to 1990. The district is conducting a feasibility study to replace the lights. Lorenz says one focus of the study is the cost.

District officials hope to have the new lights installed by the start of next school year. The Slater School District is also looking into upgrading the H-VAC system in the elementary school.
