Shelby County Superintendents Keeping an Eye on Session

Superintendents from throughout the state are keeping a close eye on a number of proposals that are under consideration during the state legislative session. South Shelby Superintendent Tim Maddex has a message to pass along to lawmakers.

Lawmakers have entertained the idea of additional funding for school transportation. That’s something Gaines would welcome.
Budget work is underway in the House and Senate.
