Shelbina City Council Working to Finalize Budget

The Shelbina City Council spent a portion of last week’s meeting working on the city’s budget for the fiscal year 2021. Shelbina City Clerk Tim Lacy says he doesn’t expect the COVID-19 pandemic to have too negative of an impact on the budget.
However, Lacy adds the city will need to be cautious with the budget moving forward.
The fiscal year 2021 budget will be finalized at the next Shelbina City Council meeting, June 23rd.
