Truman State running back Cody Schrader transferred to the University of Missouri after leading NCAA Division II in rushing last season with 2,074 yards on an even 300 carries. While acknowledging the loss, Bulldog coach Gregg Nesbitt thinks his experienced offensive line will step up to the challenge….

Another returning offensive lineman is junior Jon Saxbury of Monroe City. Nesbitt says the Bulldogs bring in an experienced back in transfer Shamar Griffith from Hannibal High School……

Griffith was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection at Missouri Western. Nesbitt says the greater concern is replacing five-time All-GLVC fullback Jacob Morris….

Mason Huskey of Hallsville is one of the running backs competing for carries. Other area Bulldogs on the offensive side of the roster include tight ends Matt Hall of Rock Bridge, Tanner Lain of Kirksville, and Ryan Dabney of Milan, and receiver Noah Copeland of Kirksville.
