Scheiderer Makes It Back-To-Back Special Teams Players of the Week for Truman

The Truman State football program has claimed the Great Lakes Valley Conference Special Teams Player of the Week Award back-to-back weeks. Bulldogs’ junior kicker Josh Scheiderer set a career-high distance with a pair of 47-yard field goals in a 46-27 victory at Missouri S&T last week. The Springfield native made all four extra point attempts and had two touchbacks. It is the second time Scheiderer has claimed the award in his career.

Last week, Tanner Lain of Kirksville was the GLVC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Truman will play at Indianapolis for the GLVC Spring Football Championship this Saturday night. You can hear the game on Superstation KRES and centralmoinfo.com starting at 5:30.
