Salisbury Snaps Losing Streak Against Fayette

For the first time since 2015 the Salisbury Panthers defeated the Fayette Falcons with a 30-8 final score. The Panthers pounced on Fayette early after recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff, converting it into a Patrick White touchdown. White connected with wideout Gavin Binder for a 12-yard touchdown the following series. The pair then hooked up for the second time in the opening frame.

Fayette was held scoreless up until the 3rd when Jaron Cross ran in a touchdown. Salisbury coach Oren Magruder was pleased with the hot start.

The Panthers limited Fayette to 137 yards rushing. Magruder tipped his cap to the defense for slowing down Micah Estes and Carter Vroman.
