Rural Interests Highlighted in House Budget

The Missouri House of Representatives recently passed a nearly 47 billion dollar budget. Several rural interests were highlighted in the House’s version. House Budget Committee member Peggy McGaugh says one of those focuses was on rural roads.

There’s more for transportation.

The budget now moves to the Senate for further consideration. The deadline for the Legislature to pass a balanced budget is May 6th.
