Route 61 Fatal Accident Involving A Van-Far Ambulance

A Bowling Green woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 61 at New London around 9:50 Tuesday night. The State Highway Patrol reports a vehicle driven by 43-year old Terri Rucker of Bowling Green was driving northbound in the southbound lane of 61 and hit a Van-Far ambulance driven by 54-year old Leslie Dahl of Farber head-on. Rucker was pronounced dead at the scene. Dahl and a passenger, 47-year old Jason Bostic of Troy, were seriously injured and flown to Columbia.
