Higbee senior Derek Rockett will launch his college basketball career at NCAA Division II Arkansas Tech….
Rockett says there is a Higbee connection at Arkansas Tech….
The Wonder Boys head coach is David Dawson. Rockett says the school also works for his major of mechanical engineering.
Rockett scored over 2,500 points in his Tiger basketball career and was nominated for the McDonald’s All-American team.
Over his previous three spring seasons for Higbee, Rockett has a .622 batting average and and ERA below one (0.76). He says his first shot will come on the mound at the next level….
