Missourians are being advised to keep an eye and ear out for possible scammers during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Citizens are being asked to use extra caution before clicking on links related to coronavirus information, donating to a charity, contributing to a crowdfunding campaign, or purchasing products online. The FBI has noticed a rise in scams in recent weeks related to the pandemic. Among these scams include fake CDC e-mails which feature links claiming to offer information on the coronavirus. Phishing e-mails asking you verify your personal information in order to receive an economic stimulus check have also been found in recent weeks.
