Riekeberg Dominant in Macon Shutout Over Moberly

Chrisjen Riekeberg struck out 13 as part of a complete game shutout in a 5-0 victory for Macon over Moberly Saturday. All of Macon’s offense came in the sixth inning. Mykel Linear drove in a run to break the scoreless tie, Tanner Nelson was hit with the bases loaded and Jakeb Swallow delivered the dagger.

Mitchell Bruce was removed after giving up a leadoff walk in the sixth and took the loss. He was tagged for one run, five hits, three walks and struck out six.

Kobe Graves gave up four runs and Carson Fletcher delivered a scoreless 1 1/3 innings. Robuck was impressed by the Spartans.

The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for Moberly and drops the Spartans to 11-7. Macon improves to 12-0.
