The Randolph County Historical Society will open the Randolph County Historical Museum & Genealogy Center in Moberly this Thursday for a special Veterans Day event. In cooperation with organizations such as the Daughters of American Colonists and Daughters of the American Revolution, attendees will have the opportunity to identify local World War II soldiers, sailors, and other military personnel. The museum has a collection of photographs and halftones from the war with inadequate identification. Relatives of veterans who fought in World War II are particularly invited to attend in order to put names to faces. Refreshments will be provided. The veteran identification event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at the Randolph County Historical Museum and Genealogy Center. The museum will also be open Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm for the Veterans Day parade in Moberly.
