Now that a consultant has identified areas of concern with the Randolph County 9-1-1 system, it’s on to the next step. Presiding Commissioner John Truesdell says the Randolph County Ambulance District and City of Moberly have joined them in bringing the consultant back to determine what it will take to fix the problems. Truesdell says there is help in covering the cost.

Truesdell wants to have the report by the first of the year.

Truesdell says Randolph County is slated to receive $5 million in American Relief Funds. This federal aid is separate from the CARES Act funds that came in the midst of the pandemic.
