Plank Opposes Current Education Bill

State Representative Adrian Plank hopes the omnibus education bill, as it’s currently written, fails this year.

Plank says his constituents are overwhelmingly against charter schools.

Senate Bill 727 also expands the state’s Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program, raises teacher salaries to 48 thousand dollars annually by 2027-28, bans student attendance officers and reduces the number of years a student can get a Teacher Recruitment and Retention State Scholarship from four years to two.
