Plank Frustrated by Chemical Companies

State Representative Adrian Plank of Columbia says a bill heard in the House Agriculture Policy Committee last Thursday would make it harder for cancer victims to sue herbicide and pesticide manufacturers. Plank says he understands that those chemicals increase yields, but they are also killing people.

Plank says multi-billion dollar corporations are running out the clock against people they’ve harmed.

Plank says the current methods are not good for farmers or consumers.

House Bill 2763 would make federal warning labels sufficient for chemicals sold in the state of Missouri.
