Norfolk Southern train service between Moberly and Kansas City remains suspended as a result of the Grand River Bridge outage in Brunswick following structural damage from heavy rains and debris. Norfolk Southern Engineering continues to work on repairs and restoration efforts and has completed all underwater work. Railroad officials expect repairs to be completed and service restored no later than Wednesday, November 6th. Norfolk Southern has entered into agreements with their interline partners to detour freight traffic over alternative gateways through the duration of the outage.
