New State Fair Director Lauds Retiring Wolfe

Two decades of service by outgoing Missouri State Fair director Mark Wolfe were celebrated Thursday afternoon. A full house gathered to recognize Wolfe in The Pork Place on the fairgrounds, including Wolfe’s successor, current facilities manager Jason Moore.

Moore recalls that one of Wolfe’s first projects as fair director was construction of The Pork Place.

Just like Wolfe’s first years running the fair, incoming state fair director Jason Moore will have some significant projects on his desk when he takes over January 1st, including a new arena and additional campground sites.
