NCMC ALL-CONFERENCE FOOTBALL PACKED WITH SPARTANS AND PIRATES

The NCMC released its All-Conference football teams Wednesday. Hannibal finished 5-0 in NCMC contests with Moberly in second place at 3-2. The Pirates have four players on the First Team offense and three members of the First Team defense. Moberly’s First Team offense players are running back Jarrett Kinder, lineman Austin Laughlin, tight end Jacksyn Miller, wide receiver Toby Short, and quarterback Dominic Stoneking fills both the at large and punter spots. Kinder, Miller, and Stoneking are also on the First Team defense along with lineman Andrew Huff, linebacker Jared Herron, defensive back Clayton Briscoe, and at large Joel Untrauer, who is a Spartan linebacker. Herron, Briscoe, and lineman Caige Douglas are on the Second Team offense. Six Mexico players are recognized on both the All-NCMC offenses and defenses. Lineman Maverick Sadler earned First Team offense and First Team defense status. Kirksville’s record-setting duo of quarterback Paxton Dempsay and receiver Noah Copeland landed on the First Team.
