Monroe City Pitcher Pratt Signs To Play Softball At Lindenwood

Monroe City pitcher Lucy Pratt made it official by signing a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Lindenwood University. Along with getting an opportunity to play at a Division 1 program, Pratt says there is another key factor in her choice…..

Pratt struck out 153 batters over 90 innings with an ERA of 1.93. The All-Stater also hit .609, with a slugging percentage of .875 and drove in 27 runs. She had over 300 strikeouts in her career. Pratt believes her stuff will play at the next level, but knows there is less room for error…..

Pratt says she grew up with Melissa Chinn’s Monroe City softball program…..

Lindenwood softball coach Erin Brown formerly coached at Truman State and has Clarence Cannon Conference ties as a graduate of South Shelby High School. You can hear the full interview by going to the Magic City Sports Talk page at centralmoinfo.com.
