Monroe City Looks to Continue Success

The Monroe City Panthers only loss last year came to Adrian in the state semifinals. Coach David Kirby says they enjoyed a magical season, but the goal now is improvement.

Kirby says they’re excited about the returning group of seniors, including Waylon DeGrave returning from a knee injury.

Kirby’s goal is to get this year’s team to understand the Monroe City blueprint.

Kirby says the other schools in the Clarence Cannon Conference return a lot of talent this season.

The Panthers open at Mark Twain this Friday night.
