Moberly Softball Hopes To Build Off A Good Second Half Of Last Season

Moberly Softball started 2-9 in Drew Hunt’s first season as head coach. The Lady Spartans turned it around in the second half winning 9-of-12 games. Hunt believes they can pick up where they left off thanks in part to returning pitcher Taylor Martin….

The Lady Spartans graduated their shortstop in Kennedy Messer. Hunt says they will turn over the key middle infield position to an underclassman….

Hunt says better defense will help the results in close ballgames…..

For the first time, Moberly Softball will host a season-opening tournament this Saturday…..

Besides Martin, other Lady Spartan seniors are centerfielder Chloe Ferguson, outfielder Chloe O’Donnell, third baseman Jordan Pasbrig, second baseman Elizabeth Reisenauer, catcher Maddie Thompson, and Chloe Grisham.
