Moberly Police Stepping Up Enforcement of New Permit Rule for Golf Carts and Side-by-Sides

Earlier this summer, a change was made requiring Moberly residents to get golf cart or side-by-side permits from the city instead of the county. Police Chief Troy Link says there are some differences with the city handling the permits.

Requirements for golf carts include having lights and reflective stickers. Link says some issues have developed recently.

Moberly Police have received reports of kids under the age of 16 operating golf carts, which is also a violation of the ordinance.
