Moberly Opens Conference Play At Kirksville
The Moberly Spartans oppose the Kirksville Tigers on the road in both teams’ NCMC opener Friday. Moberly moved to 3-0 and rested its starters for a half in a 44-19 win over Winfield last week. Coach Cody McDowell believes the Spartans are still on the upswing.
McDowell says limiting turnovers is a big emphasis in this game and moving forward.

The Tigers return two KRES All-Stars in offensive lineman Michael Corbett and linebacker Jack Thomas but graduated First Team All-NCMC quarterback Isaac Danielson. Krietemeyer says they’ve settled on junior Ryder Lyons under center.
