Moberly Man Hurt in Boone County Accident

A Moberly man suffered moderate injuries in an accident in Boone County Tuesday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says around 5:35pm, 45-year-old Shawn Reams was distracted by his phone and ran into the back of a pickup driven by 43-year-old Daniel Blackmore of Sturgeon, as Blackmore had slowed to turn from Highway 63 onto Route CC. Reams’s pickup overturned onto its top. He was taken to Columbia. Blackmore was not injured.
