Moberly Man Arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance

A Moberly man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance Thursday morning. The Moberly Police Department reports 37-year-old Nicholas Fainter was arrested and formally charged with possession of a controlled substance after the MPD S.W.A.T. Team served a narcotics related search warrant at a residence in the 1500 block of south Morley Street. Fainter was currently on bond release for a previous narcotics distribution related investigation and search warrant from November 12th, as well as bond release on a separate case from June in which he was arrested and charged for distribution of methamphetamine and resisting arrest.
