Moberly Council Officially Approves Continuing Capital Improvement Sales Tax

The Moberly City Council has officially approved continuing with the capital improvement sales tax. City Manager Brian Crane says these valuable resources are used for extending, improving, operating and maintaining the water and sewer systems.

Crane says investing in infrastructure is also key for businesses.

The ordinance was approved Monday, and is for one half of one percent on retail sales that are subject to tax.
