Moberly Council Approves Measures for Plumrose USA

The Moberly City Council has approved a number of measures, clearing the way for Plumrose USA, a prepared foods and packaged meat company, to build a new bacon facility in Moberly. Michael Bugalski, the President of the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation, outlines one of them.

The facility, which will produce ready-to-eat, fully cooked bacon, is expected to bring nearly 200 new jobs to the region and represents more than 68 million dollars in capital investment.
