Moberly Chamber of Commerce Hoping to Grow Current and Future Events

The Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce recently received the Innovator Award at the Missouri Governor’s Conference on Tourism for the success of the 2021 edition of Junk Junktion. Chamber Executive Director Megan Schmitt says this will hopefully lead to an increase in chamber events in the future.

The main focus for the chamber at this time is increasing the size of the annual Moberly Christmas Festival. This year’s event will be held on December 3rd. Schmitt says there are other upcoming events scheduled before the end of the year.

Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe will be the keynote speaker. Senator Cindy O’Laughlin will also be among the politicians there.
