Missouri Hunters Reminded of New Chronic Wasting Disease Regulations for 2022-23 Season

While the Missouri archery deer season begins this Thursday, Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) continues to affect the state’s deer population. Macon County Conservation Agent Jared Kelly says there is a new regulation for counties in Missouri’s CWD Management Zone during archery season.

Kelly explains the reason for the new regulation.

Local counties in the CWD Management Zone are Macon, Chariton, Linn, Adair, Knox, Sullivan, Putnam and Clark.
