Missouri House Working to Advance Resolution to Safeguard State Elections

The Missouri House of Representatives is seeking final approval for House Joint Resolution 104. Representative Peggy McGaugh of Carrollton says this bill modifies multiple provisions related to state elections.

The legislation also requires that voting machines be tested and certified as secure by federal standards before each election. McGaugh believes the resolution can move quickly through the Senate.

The goal of House Joint Resolution 104 is to embed these voting procedures into the Missouri Constitution.
