Missouri House Considering Legislation on Sports Gambling and Video Lottery Terminals

The Missouri House has been considering multiple pieces of legislation covering sports wagering. Representative Kip Kendrick of Columbia says these pieces of legislation are being combined with legislation related to video lottery terminals.

Kendrick says he has mixed feelings on the topic.

Kendrick likes the benefit of extra education funding which could stem from the terminals. However, he has concerns about potential issues with increased gambling addiction in the state.
