Missouri House Approves Bill to Provide Personal Property Tax Relief

The Missouri House of Representatives has passed House Bill 2430 which modifies provisions related to personal property tax valuations. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch of Hallsville says this provides needed relief for Missourians.

The bill is sponsored by Representative Mike McGirl of Potosi. Toalson Reisch says the goal is to bring the rates back to pre-COVID levels.

The bill passed by a vote of 115-19 and advances on to the Senate.
