Missouri Farm Bureau Could Make New Precedent With Primary Endorsements

Missouri Farm Bureau and their political arm FARM PAC are venturing into unfamiliar territory by considering endorsements for the August 2nd primaries of the U.S. Senate and two open House seats.  President Garrett Hawkins says the move comes at the request of leaders from several county bureaus.

While candidates in each primary only need the most votes to advance to the general election in November, Hawkins notes that candidates will need to impress more than just a simple majority of Farm Bureau representatives.
