A public forum was held last Thursday at Milan High School to discuss the potential switch to a four-day school week for the district. Surveys had previously been sent to students, parents, and district patrons. Superintendent Dr. Ben Yocom says the surveys showed support for the switch.

During the public forum, Yocom says they heard a variety of concerns related to the potential switch.

There were also several voices of support for the four-day week during the public forum. Yocom says the forum will make for a tough decision for the school board.

A decision on the switch to a four-day week is expected to be made at the next school board meeting on February 16th.
