Milan School District Dealing with Rising Health Insurance Costs

The Milan School Board approved the district’s health insurance plan earlier this month. However, Superintendent Dr. Ben Yocom says rising health insurance costs are becoming an issue.

Milan is part of a health insurance consortium with other Missouri school districts. Yocom says the consortium does create some problems for the district.

The Milan School Board approved the health insurance plan with a unanimous 7-0 vote.
