Following a change of venue, a Randolph County jury found 25-year-old Sadiq J. Moore guilty of second degree murder, first degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon, and three counts of armed criminal action in connection with the death of Chance Davis at his home in Mexico in June 2020. Moore was accused of assisting two others with the home invasion. Sentencing is set for July 20th. Moore faces up to life in prison. Trial dates have not been set for 23-year-old Dayton Curtis-Fisher, and 27-year-old Timothy Midgyett.
