Mexico Girls Wrestling Team Trying to Carry Strong Start into 2024

The Mexico girls wrestling team has high hopes for the upcoming postseason following a strong November and December. Coach Tony Senor (See-nore) says they’re already seen team success this season.

At the Polo Duals Tournament the Lady Bulldogs defeated Polo, Albany, Rock Port and Stanberry. Senor says they’ve also seen individual success.

Mexico closes the 2023 portion of its schedule this weekend at the Wonder Woman Tournament at Columbia Battle High School. Senor says he’s looking forward to the NCMC Duals Tournament at Moberly Area Community College to open 2024.

Senor details his goals for the rest of the season.

The Lady Bulldogs will host their annual Brick City Girls Classic Tournament on January 15th. That event will serve as senior night for the Lady Bulldogs.
