Marmol Extended Through 2026

Cardinals Manager Oliver Marmol was signed to a contract extension through the 2026 season, the team announced Friday. The 37-year old Marmol is entering his third season, with the Cardinals finishing last in their division last season for the first time since 1990. The Cardinals won the National League Central in 2022. Marmol has been a member of the Cardinals organization since 2007, first as a player, and then as a coach and manager at the minor league level. Oli was named the 51st manager in Cardinals franchise history on October 25th, 2021.
