Marceline City Council Approves Budget

During this month’s meeting, the Marceline City Council approved the city’s new budget. City Manager Richard Hoon provides some details on the budget process, starting with revenue.

Revenues are up from the previous year’s budget. The budgeting process for the city took more than two months to complete.

While Marceline’s budget for the new fiscal year is healthy and balanced, Hoon says there are concerns moving forward.

The next Marceline City Council meeting is scheduled for November 16th.
