Macon County Declining COVID Case Trend

The Macon County Health Department reported only one new case of COVID-19 over the past seven days, compared to four cases last week and thirty two cases the week before. There have been 34 deaths plus 19 probable deaths listed by DHSS in Macon County and 3,797 positive cases since the pandemic began. The health department is reporting 41 percent of the residents are now vaccinated.
